Default Bad Sway Bar?

Okay I have a question do the 850's have a sway bar and if they do what would be the signs that it has gone bad my mechanic thinks the bushings are shot but he is an hour away and I could only describe the noise that I was hearing from the passenger side front end, its a rattling noise like something is loose. I can't figure it out and I have had almost the whole front end rebuilt less then 9000 miles ago.

Sway bar link maybe?

The sway bar bushings should not wear out, but if they did, I would just upgrade to a IPD set of sway bars. You will get new bushings with the sway bars and improve the handling dramatically.

The stock sway bar has molded on bushings and my understanding of doing an upgrade is you need to cut or burn them off. It's hard to imagine one going bad but the cars are getting close to 20 years old so .....
It's more likely the sway bar link is loose, worn out or broke. They get the most work and fail every so many years. Up north here they tend to get weak from rust and snap in half.

I bought Moog sway bar links but they don't have the grease zerk. They are sealed ends.

I bought a set of energy suspension greaseable sway bar bushings but haven't taken the time to remove the old bushings yet.

FCP and IPD sell both the replacement and improved mount. I like the
polyurethane one but different people have their own opinions.
