Default Blower cutting out

Ok, new problem and winter is coming. Ive noticed over the last couple of weeks that the blower will turn off on its own and will not start again till I restart the engine.

Where do I start to look for this issues.

Thanks in advance.

OK, please specify the model year & the type of climate control you have; there are manual system & automatic system.

Once you specify those, we can help you better.

P.S: I've attached a pic for manual climate control. If yours looks different, you have EEC-Electronic Climate Control (auto).

Do the lights start flashing when it stops?
If so the blower motor or resistor might be bad.

I didnt really look. I do get flashes at start up, but I already know the code for that problem (interior temp sensor fan is malf).. I will have to wait till it kicks out on its own while I'm driving and then look at the lights.

I hate it when that sensor causes troubles.

One member was able to fix the problem either by replacing the sensor or cleaning it. I believe he cleaned the rotating parts, as well as the electrical connector with contact cleaner.
