So its miserably cold here in PA so heats been going full blast. Anyhow, I used me heat this morning, worked fine. This afternoon I turned it on and got a screeching noise and sounded like something rattling around. Does this mean my blower motor is shot? I turned it off immediately and left it off. But my windshield fogged up so I had to do something. I have an ECC module and can turn it on a little over 1/3 to get a little air with no noise but beyond that it is screaming. So basically,
1. Is the motor shot?
2. Can it be repaired or has to be replaced?
3. If needs replaced do I have to go OEM or can I use aftermarket for cheaper?
