Call Erie Used Volvo Parts - 1-888-865-8613 or Volvo and Saab Dismantlers 1-800-700-8658. I've used both of them for used parts. I like Erie best, but the other place is usually a little cheaper.

Thanks JimKW, I called them and they were all sold out- both of them.
But my question is, would I be able to use an ECC that does not have the same part number as mine?
I read somewhere online that all the ECC units are just replacements of the earlier ones. So technically I could use one of them?

O, I found a unit online that will work with my car. After calling countless junk yards with no luck. It's $100-not too bad a deal. Thanks everyone for your help. I can finally have A/C!

So my ECC finally came in today. I plugged and shoved it in and it works excellent! $100 was a small price to pay to get air back in my car. Thanks for all the help everyone!

I too am in this same boat... it was a tough summer for my ECC! [8D]

The lights on my ECC flash, I heard somewhere, that this indivates a fault in the system.

Does it indicate a fault with the ECC or can it be something withing the whole system, including the blower motor and/or the resistor?

The entire system.
Depending on the year of the car you can pull the codes yourself.

I put together a picture video on "How to remove and lube the blower motor fan on a Volvo 850". Hope it's useful to someone.
