Default clicking noise

my engiene is making a clicking noise, i suspect a valve not closing properly, though i checked the compression to see wich one it was it still read 150psi on the lowest, and the rest at 175psi, all of the spark plus have a normal color to them, is it still fine if i do to work with it tomorow? will it do any damage?

Does the engine run smooth? Do you hear the noise only at idle or all through the RPM range?

yes, it ran smoothly when it did the cliking noise. my better guess would be the lifters also, now ive taken the motor apart up to where i have taken the head of the engiene, there are two marks on one of the pistons caused by the two valves making contact, right now im too tierd to continue, ill take apart the valves tomorow morning, ill take the opprtunity to take off all the crease that built up over the years, maybe itll help the performance

If the timing marks for the timing belt are off too much it can cause that. Was the timing belt done recently? Do you know when the tensioner was last replaced?

Sometimes its one cylinder that gets afffected first before it becomes apparent on the other ones. Was there any slack in the T-belt when you removed it?
