It's time my friends, I need a new clutch. Anybody have good recommendations? It's a stock N/A base model so I'm guessing I can put just about anything in there but considering it's my first time buying a clutch I figured I'd ask here first.

As a side note, is there any good preventative maintenance I can do while the trans is out? Thanks.

 

with the tranny out you can inspect the rear main seal (or replace it), you can inspect the flywheel / get it resurfaced (check for any missing teeth that will annoy the starter), replace the throw out bearing, replace the clutch slave cylinder (I assume it has a hydraulic clutch). I assume you'll be replacing both the clutch disc and pressure plate. Shop at a Volvo friendly site like IPD USA or FCP Euro to see what after market/OEM parts they list. I'd probably go with an OEM brand like Sachs.
