convert turbo to normal
turbos and NAs have different blocks (different compression ratios) so for starters you'd need to swap blocks. They also run different ECUs and I suspect they also run different wiring harnesses for the engine to account for any turbo specific sensors. Best way to do this would be by getting a donor car then moving bits over although I'm not sure why anybody would want to detune a turbo this way.
I think it's at least worth a try to put an NA exhaust manifold on there, re-route the intake air, and change nothing else at all. There is a chance that could work, and if it did, so easy.
It's obviously possible for the turbo engine to run with intake pressure below atmospheric pressure.

I wrote a book on this and I lost it all....dern computers.
I'll give you the short version. IMHO, it would never run right and you'd foul plugs because the ecm wouldn't be calibrated correctly.
There would be no cheap way to get you an intake...dif gaskets, so I assume dif head (although same tbi....based on a rockauto.com search)

They all have turbos...way easier to get it running that way.
