I noticed a small puddle of coolant on my garage floor and it was from my car. I opened the hood and standing in front of it looking to the left side behind the passenger side light on the bottom of the engine compartment just to the side of the radiator right below the AC compressor is a round metal jug like thing black in color part that is where the fluid is coming from i think. The bottom felt wet and the bottom was rusty. The thing is that i think this part is AC related. Does this part sound familar to anyone and can coolant leak from it ? I hope it's not my radiator.

That might be A/C oil and dye. The dye is green and usually looks like coolant.

 

Sorry that part is the dryer.

 

So no coolant goes through their?. I guess maybe need to look somewhere else. I dont think its dye cause it seems like a bit to much-it leaks down the bottom of the rain guard/skid plate. and comes out the middle opened part and leaks not a crazy amount really isn't loseing much and only needed to add alittle. Really loos like coming out the dryer. Going to ask my neighbor to put it on the lift any see if i can see it leak while it's running.

 

Might be the radiator they commonly leak.
