It doesn't have a Turbo...
When I got my emissions inspection on my Volvo 850 GLT earlier this year, the print out says that my engine is a 2.3 litre turbo. In checking the original paperwork for the car and the VIN, it shows to be a 2.4 litre N/A. Why is the DMV getting it wrong? There is no turbo, intercooler, or turbo to intercooler downpipe in the engine compartment. No "whistling sound" when I shift gears. There are times I wish it was a turbo, but it's really not.
Yes. it's the paperwork from the Emissions Station and it shows my correct VIN, but says that it's a 2.3 litre Turbo. It definitely isn't a turbo. I'd already have ordered an IPD stage 2 if it was, but alas, it's not. There would surely be a turbo gauge in the dash if it was.
