Looks like most prefer the videos. If anyone sees a video they want linked, just link it in that DIY thread and we'll (moderators) will come back through later and link it in the first post.

Man, I'm 6:23 into this video and have seen several things I don't really care for. Not that they're wrong but ouch. The drain **** doesn't have to come out, just loose enough to let coolant drain. The splash pan doesn't have to come off, there is a hole in it for the drain ****. When you install the drain ****, just snug it down, don't put a wrench on it. I don't know. I'll keep watching. There are so little steps in this job I think a real time video is tough to watch. (This is coming from a guy with the longest videos on youtube. LOL).

Rumor has it that the t-stat bleeder (small brass loose thing) should be installed to point to the hightest point of the housing, to the front of the car. helps the system burp better. Not sure that it matters a lot, just what I have read somewhere.

Then it would be nice for him to state what size tools he's using and that those bolts on the t-stat housing do strip a LOT.

I think you get about 75% of the fluid out when you open both the rad and block. So, there is still about 25% flush mix still in that motor. Not sure I would leave it at that. I think I would flush a couple of times with distilled water before my final fill. I would also mention the proper type of coolant that goes in the car, that standard prestone stuff aint it (not that I wouldn't use it, I just think I would at least tell people what is suppose to go in there).

It's strictly a personal preference but to link to a youtube video you can just drop the "HTTM\\www" at the beginning of the link and you don't have that big square preview screen in your post.
