I have a 1996 black 850r wagon with 165k miles in very good condition. Im considering selling and having a hard time finding out what its worth. KBB is no help. Any help would be great. Im in NY. Thanks

 

Why is KBB no help? I use that for pricing all the time. Then I look at AutoTrader and some at E-Bay and try and find out what they are going for. Some people try and get way too much out of them though. My gut feel is it's worth somewhere from $5,000 to $6,500. If it doesn't have the original 17" volan wheels on it, knock at least $500 off the price unless it has a better set of wheels like Pegasus.

 

I would start at about $5K and work from there.

I got $5350 from KBB Private Party resale in good condition in New York City. You must be putting something wrong into KBB. You sell it for $1800, and I'll be right over.
