I am doing preventative maintenance on my 850r. The radiator and expansion tank hoses seem easy - just loosen the clamps and replace them. I am stuck with the heater hoses. The rubber end has the normal hose clamps, while the other end looks metal and goes into the firewall. How do I disconnect the hose at the firewall?

 

squeeze the clips and pull the hose out.
