Ignition CHIME won't stop

When you insert your key in the ignition there is a warning chime that sounds until the ignition is turned on, and MINE WON'T GO OFF!!!! HELP, IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!! 1995 850 sedan.

Driver's door sensormight bescrewed up. Do the interior lights go off?

Yes, the lights go out when I shut the door. Is there a fuse I can pull?

Im not sure what's going on, but mine did that last night eventually it turned off on it's own.

Thank God the Australian 850 doesn't appear to have this annoyingchime on it (at least mine hasn't).

Alsothe cabinlights in mine switch off immediately the (1) ignition is switched on or (2)doors arelocked.

Otherwise, the cabin lights stay on for about 30 seconds before they automatically switch off.
