Well now on my 3rd attempt im finally getting an R.

Its a 1996 Red R, with 103k miles on the clock.It has Peg's on it, and a few other litle goodies. It's going to Volvo Inspection on Tue. If allgoeswell , she will be on a transport trailer to me!

Im really happy...

Just wondering if theres anything I should look out for when I get it...or any problems known for 96 R's

Contratulations!!! In 96 they made two shades of red for the R. One was the real bright red and the other was kind of an orange-ish red. The latter is very rare especially with the charcoal interior. Right now I'm looking at a 97 Red R wagon for my daughter, but I have to get rid of the Acura first.

Jim, you should really consider applying for Swedish citizenship.

 

Jim, what kind of Acura do you have? And what are you looking to get for it? Oh and where do you live?

 

Jim, think twice before getting rid of your NSX, Honda has discontinued manufacturing NSX (except they are planning to replace the underpowered V6 vehicle with a V10 vehicle).

Agreed. Or, at least Volvo should hire you as a technical & sales consultant for North American market (and please complain to them about the ABS module & the evaporator[8D]). If not, Volvo should at least give you & your family a free trip to Sweden, including meals.

I'm getting rid of a 97 Acura 2.2 CL. It's a two door coupe and my daughter needs a four door car to haul my granddaughter around in. I'm in Columbus, OH and asking $4,350 for the car.

94 850 Turbo - Grey with Charcoal Interior - engine went at 206k or I would still have it. Should have replace engine.
89 760 Turbo Intercooler - Gold - mine - Only one I didn't like too much
85 760 Turbo Diesel - White - my first one I would probably still have it too had we not moved to Colorado
