Default Jacking up my Volvo

Is there a good place to jack up the front end or rear end of my Volvo? I am about to do the brakes and I would like to raise one end, do those, then raise the other end for those brakes. Do I have to raise one side, put in an axle stand under one side of the front then jack up the other side and do the same?

The supplied jack will jack up the entire side. In my opinion, the supplied jack is the most dangerous of any that I have ever used. I usually put jack stands under the tri-bracket in the front (just behind the wheel axle).

I am looking for a point to put a jack so I can jack up one end or the other. I did the rear brakes yesterday and jack up one side at a time. I agree about the factory jack. I really don't trust it.

In the rear where the tow hook is located on the spare tire indent there is a jack point that will lift the rear. On the front I have always lifted by the subframe but be careful not to hit your oil pan.
