Losing brake fluid

SO here's a question: how likely is it that the leak was from one of those two bolts on the bottom of the pump assembly? The reason I ask is because it turns out that i damaged the new assembly i got - where the brake fluid comes into it from the master cylinder - the rubber lines....broke off the coupler.
I was thinking that if it was just those bolts that were the problem,. I could swap the other bolts into it - they look pretty good.
Here's the old bolts that came out of the bottom of the one on my car:

Update: Pulled both of those bottom bolts from both modules and pulled the covers off. the module that was on my car was soaked in brake fluid, and the other one was dry. Is it being dry indicative of it being a good module? Sorry for all the questions, but I dont want to put this back together and spend 4 hours bleeding everything only to find that im still in the same spot i was in when i started.
