Losing Brake Fluid

Losing Brake Fluid
'99 S80, 176K miles, recently new to me, arrived with brake pads and rotors completely destroyed. Replaced with NAPA parts, all was well for a day or so.
The pedal became very spongy & brake failure warning message displayed. Not signs of leaking fluid underneath, not a drop. Refilled master cylinder reservoir, all was well again----for a few days. Same scenario---not a visible drop underneath.
No vacuum leak noises from the booster----could this be the master cylinder leaking? Any other suggestions what's causing this?
Thanks in advance!

Found the problem----driver's side carpeting is S-O-A-K-E-D with brake fluid!
Booster and its mounting studs are completely dry so I'm guessing there are brake lines running inside the cabin.
I've already had my fill of troubles and potential for more trouble that costs out the wazoo. It'll be for sale "as is" on my local Craig's list very, very soon.
Thanks all for looking in!
