hello my 95 volvo 850glt has been hesitant to start as of late but it got better and then gets worse, when i went to the gas station it started right up and then after i got out the store she wouldnt even turn over. tried jump starting and tapping starter and still doesnt work, any ideas?? it only makes one click when u try to turn the key

 

Bad contacts on the armature inside the starter

 

How old is the battery? Maybe it has died for any number of reasons. When you try to jump it please make sure you do it correctly. Also, don't be afraid to hold the key in the ignition when trying to start it for 10 full seconds.

 

well it was starting and now it wont again it takes fits sometimes it will sometimes it wont, tried jumping it and that didnt work any ideas/
