Need some Help!!! Floor Vents!!
so i fixed my passenger side without a problem, now im on the driver side, and nothings going well
i took apart the dash, when i stick a screwdriver onto the vent, it wont budge, i took off the motor the looks like it runs it, it still wont budge. there is another spine that is attached to it, but nothing else, which also turns when you move the flap.
does the car have to be running for all the vents to work?
im frustrated now.

No, it isn't and they should work when the car is just in the on position because they are not vacuum controlled or anything like that. Have you tried it with the car running to see for some reason that would make a difference?
i was changing my wheel hub at the time, so i couldent run it. but it turns out my battery was dead also, that could have been the problem.
but my initial question still stands, how do you fix the drivers side motor?
the passenger side is no problem, remove the glove box, repair the split shaft.
