Thanks so much for the videos rspi. Bought a '94 Volvo 850 wagon here in Yorkshire England with 95K miles on the clock. No idea when or if the timing belt has been changed ! Got the parts now - doing this hopefully next week with the great help available on this forum (The Haynes Manual for the 850 is really poor I think)

Dear Jim, you should consider adding your location to your "User CP" so it pops when you post. If someone is paying attention it will save them form giving you good advise about U.S. parts stores or places to get free diagnostics since you are "across the pond" Good luck with the T-belt job !
