PCV System, need new air intake hose?
I am going to replace the PCV system on my 1995 850T and looking at ordering from FCP Groton. Wanted to see what anyone thought about buying the complete kit, which does not come with a new air intake hose, but everything else. I figure why spend $85 on a new hose if I might not need it. Should I replace everything, just whats in the kit, or only certain pieces? I just dont want to order a few pieces, dig into the job, and realize more needs replaced. I know there are alot of posts about the system and I have gained some great info from them. Thanks alot guys. Any info for me is appreciated.

RE: PCV System, need new air intake hose?
If there is no physical damage to the intake hose, you do not need to replace it. However, the intake manifold has to come out to gain access to the PCV components, so you will have to replace the intake manifold gasket, which I believe is included in the kit sold by FCP Groton. I would replace everything that comes in the kit, only because I don't like to go back in there again.
There are different kits for turbo/non-turbo, as well as model year(?). So make sure to buy the exact kit that matches for your 850.
