Default planning on 6000+ kilometer cross country trip

Like mentioned in the title, I am planning on taking my 95 volvo 855 turbo on a 6000+ km trip, from Toronto ON, to Calgary AB. I was planning on taking a rental but I think the volvo should have no problems doing the trip.

The car has approx 270,000 kms on it (170,000 miles approx).

The things I have replaced are as follows:

Timing belt/water pump/all pulleys related (2 years ago)
Radiator and all hoses including heater hoses (a few months ago)
inner/outer tie rod, control arms, stabilizer links (less than a year ago)
pcv including cleaning the ptc (just over a year ago)
axles (both sides) (3 months ago)
rear shock mounts (4 months ago)
rear brakes/pads and rotors ( 2 years ago)
complete tune up not including o2 sensors ( 6-8 months ago)

The following things I will be replacing before the trip:

front brake pads and rotors
front and rear brake hoses
serpentine belt pulley and idler pulley
thermostat and hose that goes to the coolant reservoir
oil change
drain and fill transmission
wiper blades

One other issue I am trying to solve is that the cruise control works sometimes. The hoses under the battery look good. Maybe the brake switch??

anything else I should replace or check? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds like you got it covered to me. I would not hesitate to take any of mine on a long trip. Make sure the tires are good.

check just not air pressure, but dry rotting, side wall scraping/damage, etc. blow outs are no fun
