i am interested in getting a 1997 Volvo 850 T-5 with 222 horsepower, with
106k miles on it. i want to know the following, please

1. Can I chip this car to get more horsepower, and if so, how?

2. should i chip it if i can if it has 100+k miles on it

3. what kind of cost would i be looking at, and what kind of horsepower gain</P>


4. and is this something i can do myself? is it fairly easy?<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">help me!!!</P>

 

well i have a 850R and my dad put the TME chip in his it definatly bumped the HP on it. they are saying with your car you put the TME chip in it and exhaust it bumps you from 222 hp and 236 tq to 275hp and 280tq but that is with exhaust. </P>
