Quick change oil place !!!!!!!!noooo!
I took my newly rebuilt volvo 850 turbo to get the oil changed at an un named place that does quick oil change and they put 2 GALLONS OF OIL IN MY CAR !!!!!!!!!!! WHAT I NEED TO KNOW NOW IS HOW MUCH DAMAGE HAS IT DONE !!!??
IF IT HAS DESTROYED ALL MY HARD F*&^ING WORK ARE THEY LIABLE??
I told the Haitian guy doing it put in ONLY 5.6 QUARTS OF DINO 10-30
AND HE PUT IN 8 QUARTS !! WHEN I GOT HOME I CHECKED and it was pouring out the dipstick so i drained it all out - used other car and went and got another filter and new oil will do it myself from now on
WHAT HAS IT DONE TO MY KRISTINE?? HEEEEEELP PLEASE

You probably didn't do any damage if you did not go far with too much oil. Did it smoke like crazy? That's what old cars did when you put too much oil in them, just burned it right out. I did it once on a 78 Jeep Wagoneer.
Definiteyl report the place that did it though. If you start developing oil leaks they need to be held liable.
Glad I always change my own oil even though most everybody I work with thinks it crazy. My answer is always it takes me an hour or more to run out and have it done somewhere and I can do it myself for a lot less money, be done in 20 minutes and know it's done right.
