Hello this is my first post on this forum so i would like to introduce myself, I live in Bolton, Uk and drive a renault clio 172, my dad owns a 850 t5 and its a cracking car with a problem........ the rear discs are shot to bits and are in need of replacement, are the rear wheel bearings integral to the discs? i want to change them in one hit if i can rather than messing around with bearings at a later date.

The bearings and rotors are 2 seperate peices.

 

do the bearings press into the rotor and then mount onto a stub axle or are they part of a seperate hub?

 

As soon as you pull the caliper off (two bolts) you can simply pull off the rotor, change it, change the pads in the caliper and put it back the same as it came off. I should take you 15 to 20 minutes once you have your wheel off.

Once you remove the caliper you will need to remove one 10mm screw and the rotor will come off.

The hub and the bearing are one peice.
