Hey tech, are the brake pads for the rear on a 98 V70 the same as the ones on the 850? The place I buy them on the internet has them listed for the 850 but not for the V70. The fronts have the same part number, and from what I can tell the rears look the same. I'm getting some funny feeling in the brakes on the V70. Kind of like the ABS is kicking in when you step on the brakes smonetimes but not all the time. I'm going to change the pads first just to see what happens.

 

850, s70, c70, & v70 are all the same.

Also the 240 and 740 will fit as well but don't have the shim attached to the pad.I used to use 850 and S70 pads in my 240 all the time.

Also when you change the pads remoev the ABS sensors and clean them and reinstall the.

 

Where are the ABS sensors?

 

They go into the back of the hub.Look for a black wire that goes into the hub.In the front they go in on the top of the hub.
