Smoke coming out of exhaust 95 855t
Folks, 1995 855 turbo.
Just got done fixing thermostat, temp sensor, cleaned idle air valve, cleaned throttle body, replaced upper turbo/throttle body hose.
Car has been sitting for almost 2 weeks since I have started it, but now white smoke is coming out of the exhaust. I used carb cleaner when cleaning idle air valve and throttle body (tb was dirty on the intake side!). I let it dry out for a few mins before putting it back together.
Starts up and no more surging, no more cooling fan coming on, or reading running temp as soon as I start it up (temp sensor fixed it), but now I get some white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Is this normal when you clean the throttle body?
Oh, I felt the upper coolant hose to make sure I felt pressure when squezing and i did. Also, I noticed some smoke coming out of the 'honey comb' type thing that connects to the turbo and then exhaust downpipe. I guess that is where I am smelling exhaust fumes from. Maybe it is due to upper and lower torque bushings shot???
Here is a video on youtube of the smoke.

RE: Smoke coming out of exhaust 95 855t
Tech, I saw the smoke as soon as I started it up. The only thing I could think of is the carb spray loosened up some junk and it is burning off.
It is still smoking after driving, I'll see if it is still smoking after a test run this evening, I did not want to push it with it smoking.
With 153,000 on the odometer, it may be time to replace the pcv system.
Is there any way to clean the pvc system without removing? Seafoam???
