Hello I recently bought a 1994 850 wagon. Its in great condition. One of the only things that I have noticed is the sound from the speakers. It seems that the left front side(driver side) works fine however the right side and back speakers only come on when I wiggle the volume **** just so or if I make a right turn they will come on! lol.

Is this a loose connection? Is this something I can fix easily? Advice please?

Sounds like a dirty volume pot (the volume control mechanism inside the radio).

If you can wiggle it around and it is scratchy or goes in and out its probably the pot. You can go to Radio Shack and get some spray tuner cleaner. Pull your volumn **** off or at least out at the balance stop and spray the cleaner down the shaft. Move the volumn control up and down, like your controlling the volumn. Do this with the radio off. Then turn on the radio and listen to your results.

If this does not fix it then your looking at a lose solder joint inside the radio which it would be cheaper to buy a replacement radio on ebay then have it repaired.

I have a black cassette player and a gray CD player if your interested. The CD player does skip over big bumps though.

2 more questions... my sun roof does not go back all the way. the motor still works because I hear it but its like something is stuck in there...??? The other question is the back door(trunk) rattles when I go over bumps. It seems like it is the interior below the window... do you know how to fix these issues?
