Steering Rack Questions/spline shaft bolt stuck
Hi Folks,
I'm tearing the steering rack out of an 850 and the bolt that holds the spline shaft to the steering column
u-joint is stuck in there good. 13mm nut and retaining clip came off with no problem.
My question, do I soak it with pb blaster and wack it with a drift until it comes free, or does anybody have another suggestion?
I'm assuming the bolt just slides into place and is only held by the nut, and that there are no threads in the u-joint.
