Question steering rack repair kit

This guy is selling a 'Volvo 850 steering rack repair kit'.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I asked him if it fits all Volvo 850, regardless of year or model of steering rack, and he confirmed that it does.

Has anyone tried this?
One thing I see is that it doesn't include the external tubing, so I would have to get new parts for that another way.
I hate to get my steering rack apart and something doesn't fit and I'm there is no backup.

Well, I'm going on a year. LOL. Not sure if I want to drop one from the junk yard, try rebuilding it or get a rebuilt replacement. Not sure where mine is leaking from.

I bought a "brand new" one at the cost of 400$ 2 years ago.
It's completly finished, leaking.

Take my advise and have your OEM rebuilt.

Rspi, hose it down with engine cleaner and add a little UV dye to the oil. Any black light source will help you pin point it.

I've been sitting on my PCV kit, intake thermal isolator, a new starter and a new alternator for a year now so I guess I should get busy or shut the hell up I keep putting it off as I'm wishing for a 960 throttle body and NA intake. I think I've waited long enough.
