Substitute TPS that saves $$$, longer warranty
Almost three years ago I had a problem with a dead spot in my acceleration that I tracked down to the Throttle Position Sensor having a dead spot in it.
The auto parts store I was at didn't have the exact one that it called for but did have a substitute listed in the catalog and had one on hand.
They carried BWD product and currently the "correct" one EC3040 sells for $86.99 and only carries a 1 year warranty.
I've been running a BWD EC3302 that sells for $53.99 and has a lifetime warranty.
Just a heads up, it's been working fine for me and if you find yourself with a bad TPS and whatever store can't get one for days and you need your car now you can look for that BWD number of have whoever try to cross it over in their brand.
Cheaper and longer warranty are a win, win in my book.
