Default Sunroof Leak

On MY 850 every once in a while when it rains I get a slight leak from the sunroof area. I noticed that the glass sits approx 1mm below the roofline. i know vw specs are 1 mm above the back of the glass to the roofline. does anybody know volvo specs. I am assuming that the glass can be adjusted. I also thought the sunroof drains could be clogged but didnt see the drains in the a pillar area. I guess they drain in cowl area ? then I was thinking of running compressed air through the drain holes but have seen that blow the lines right off the sunroof track assembly on other cars. so any tips or ideas??? Thanks

Default RE: Sunroof Leak

Pull the covers off the sides to see the screws. Then look closely around the screws area. If you see any corrosion then the seal on the glass is bad. These sunroofs are designed to leak inside but then drian out from the drains. A common problem is the seal going bad allowing the water to work around the seal onto the glass then dip inside the drain area.
