OK, thanks to your answers, I'm going to attempt changing out my 93 hubs to the later 5-lug style. From parts pics online, they look the same where it matters.

I'm planning to go in with lowering springs and shocks (front and rear), and while I'm in there do the hubs and the axle assemblies (I've got a clunky noise when turning at low speeds).

I'm in the mood to preempt any other suspension maintenance. What do you guys suggest?

Which parts should I have on hand? Please tell me now because I'd hate to find out once the whole front end is in pieces! Thanks!

 

Springs seats and sway bar links incase you need them.
But buy spring seats for a XC90.
