And just cause I think it's funny. Definitely not your average college student studio apartment right here. More like a parts warehouse. lol.

I think you should seriously consider moving up to a BMW or Porsche.

That would be sweet. That will be for when I'm out of college and I have my own place with a garage. Then we'll be talkin.

Lol. I have just as many parts in my parking garage too. Another seat, a couple ABS modules, turbo, motor, tranny, gaskets galore, etc etc. Hopefully I'll be able to get this stuff cleared out pretty soon.

Back skin pulled off, foams swapped, now I just need to wait until I have some time to get to Sears and get some hog rings and a hog ring pliers. Otherwise everything fitted right up to the manual seat. I'll have to cut a couple small slices for the tilt **** on the side of the seat, but oh well, gotta do what you gotta do. Post pics tomorrow or sometime.

Oh, and this weekend going to the wagon one more time to pull the fenders off, a couple engine items, and any interior pieces that aren't destroyed since it has a giant hole in the roof and it's raining. LOL. Then off to the JY for it.

Sorry I was away but the seat itself needs 2 power wires. You can run one and Y it off to 2 wires by the seat.

There's nowhere to tap a second power wire in. There's only one power wire on the power seat harness.

Hm. There was only one power wire for me to tap into. All of the other wires were grounds. There was one power wire on the power seat harness and one on the heated seat harness. That'd be it.

This is what I have. And after reading the wire diagram for it, the green is power, black is ground, and the two other ones (orange/brown and yellow/violet) go to the computer.

If you want. I already have the seat pretty much swapped to a manual bracket, just waiting for some free time to run and get some hog rings for the upper skin. It was easy and gave me something to do at night since there really isn't much left to do on the car.

I think I'm going to cut a coil or two off the rear springs and one off of the fronts. I just have to figure out if the front spring is still going seat correctly. I read that with half a coil cut on the fronts they still sit fine without reshaping, just have to see if it holds true for one coil.

What do you have to reshape on the fronts?

Well I can tell you this on the fronts you will have to cut atleast 2 coils to get a drop. I cut the ones on the daughters car one coil. Then heated the spring with a torch and reshapped it. Then installed in and it did not drop at all.

I had trouble on my rear springs as well. After I cut 2 coils off it sat perfect. But the bump stop kept falling out of the spring and making a clunking noise over every bump.

But on the daughters car I put a set on that someone else cut the 2 coils off and the bump stop fits better.

Here is a pic of her car with the fronts cut sitting on bilstiens and the rears cut and sitting on the stock shocks.

I am going to cut one more coil off the front and see from there.
I have 2 more sets of springs so if I mess these up no big deal! LOL

Hm. Maybe I'll just leave them for now. I think I'm going to cut off at least a coil on the rears so it will sit a little more even (the back sits a bit higher...just like every other 850, except your daughter's. lol). Maybe I'll hold off, I don't want to hack up the springs since they're brand new. I'll probably just get IPD springs eventually, they give a real nice drop.

Sounds like a plan.
I think the front top coil is a dead coil.

Yeah, that's what I've heard too, and it doesn't really effect ride quality much. I just don't want to have to deal with reshaping them. Which would involve removing them after they've been installed for like three weeks. No thank you.
