SE seat is officially a manual seat. It's in the car, I just have to tighten down the bolts. I also conditioned the seats. Let the car sit out on the street in the sun and then used some lexol, but not the car stuff, like the leather jacket and furniture stuff, it's more concentrated. It worked OK. BUT, for my passenger seat since it was inside, I took my shop lamps, pointed them at the seat, and then let it bake for about 15-20 mins, conditioned, heated them up more, conditioned, and then heat for another 15 mins, they were hot, but damn, it looks really really nice for an off the shelf product. It will do until I get some Leatherique.

Pictures tomorrow. I'm taking my car to the shop at my Dad's work, finishing gutting the wagon, then I'm going to finally fix my exhaust rattle, and then double check all the suspension stuff.

Alternator and starter were tested to be dead, so I guess if nothing else I'll use them for cores. Anyone know how much it costs to have one rebuilt?

fixed my rattling exhaust. Rear heat shield was rusted out, only one bolt holding it in place.

Find a way to put the slash on. It'd make it look SICK. Also, you already sold your old turn signal/side markers, right? IMO the tinted side marker's don't look right, but that's my opinion.

I'm going to put the slash back on eventually, probably paint the slash black, make it nice and subtle but still there. The turns were a spur of the moment thing a while ago. They're only on there until I get the same kind of headlights that you have, hence the chrome trim on the grille.

I might be interested in the tinted ones when you take them off. Let me know once you take them off.

I can't believe how good the 850 looks. Can't wait until the motor swap.

You and me both. I just hope it all goes according to plan. Only about a month away though....hopefully. I'm taking a summer class that starts June 1st. So the only weekend I would have to do it is the weekend before classes start, so it would be a tight squeeze. Hopefully though, if I take the friday before off and we spend alllll weekend on it, it could be doable.

I have some ideas for the slash, it will probably go back on.

It's nice that it's at a point where it's road worthy again. Getting an alignment on Friday. Really haven't bought much for it lately. Have some small bits and pieces on their way. Throwout bearing and stylin motor vac lines, both items I found pretty cheap from someone, helped me out a lot. Returned a few parts to FCP, then I'll be ordering some stuff from them. I have an IPD intake coming, once again, from someone who hooked me up for really cheap. Have a gift certificate to IPD, so will get a couple necessary parts from them.

Can't really spend much, my stupid contract with T-Mobile is up in a few weeks, so my money will be going towards a new phone and provider in a couple weeks.

I have one that has the bottom removed and a K&N in it. The T-5R I bought had it in it. From the top it looks stock.

Judging from the pictures he has it.

Uh, yeah, I think it's sitting in the engine bay. Not exactly sure of the condition, I remember the MAF wouldn't come off, so I don't remember if I took a knife to the airbox or to the hose. lol. I'll have my Dad check it and let you know.

Well, only about a week and half of 3 finals, 2 papers, 2 presentations, and 1 project until I start ripping into this swap. lol. Anyways, I recieved my IPD intake a couple weeks ago, got my flywheel resurfaced, ebrake kit from FCP as well as a Euro R Clutch and all new flywheel/pressure plate bolts and miscellaneous other hardware. Also got my front mount today. It's a 28x9x2.75 intercooler with 2.25" piping. Also got my Auto Meter boost/vac and volt gauge (only 80 shipped because someone gave me a nice code for summit). Ordered a whole slew bolts/gaskets/seals/etc from the dealership, those should be here on Friday, made friends with the parts specialist there, so he helped me out a little, that was nice. I'll post pics of everything once I get it all. Also downloaded VADIS, which has been extremely helpful finding part numbers and what not.

What's the difference? Obviously the R clutch is stronger, but does it feel different too? I was told to get the R clutch since it's good up to like 300/350 hp, and when I put on my 19T and tune I want a stronger clutch.

Well the throw out bearing is chattering already. Also once in a while when I get on it hard I feel is slip for a second then grab and go.

Also I think it is time for a new clutch master as well. After holding it down for a while it fades out some.

Oh that sucks. If you have to replace the clutch might as well get the R clutch. Luckily, the guy that put together my swap included a new T5 master cylinder.

Agreed but I have to save up the $500.00 for the clutch.
