I like the stats. AA and A, although the tread wear is disappointing.

I have a bunch of VW and Audi friends and they all run these tires and highly recommended them. Besides, the first review on Tiredirect.com is from an S60 R owner, if that isn't a sign I don't know what is. lol.

Not sure on the wiring yet. I myself have to wire a passenger side seat as well. LOL

Schematic i have shows a Memory Seat Control Module between the pwr seat switch and the seat actuator motors; did you snag that too?

I'm just going to tap the power on the harness into another 12V power source and the ground into another 12V ground. I was about to splice it into the heated seat harness, but the power wires on the power seat harness and the heat harness are different gauges. So I'm going to get a voltmeter to make sure the heated seat harness is getting 12V before I tap into it.

The other two wires coming off of the power harness appear to be go to the diagnostic/memory center (something like that) for DTC codes. So I'm going to leave those alone for now. If it throws a code on the DTC box, I don't really care, as long as the power seat works.

On the passenger seat there is 2 power wires. One is a constant 12V and the other is a switched 12V.

Where's the second one? My passenger seat is manual w/heat. And I'm putting in a power/heat.

This is the heat harness:

And the power seat harness:

So I only have the heated seat harness in the car, I cut the power harness out of my wagon for the connector. I'm thinking the green wire one power harness to the green wire on the heated seat harness, but you're right. That probably isn't a constant 12V. I would need to turn on my heated seats in order to use the power seat.

Well, made up a harness for the powered passenger seat with no luck. I spliced the spare passenger power seat harness I have into the driver side power and ground. That passenger still has no power seat, although the driver's side still works no problem. Anyone have any ideas?

I can check an actual passenger power seat car. There is one at the junker.

Could you? Let me know how it's wired. Everything is wired except two wires that go to the "computer datalines system" "diagnostic connector", but it says that's for 95-97 only.

I'll see what I can do. I've been there quite a bit over the past few days and the chair isy immovable. What exactly would you need?

That's the thing. I don't know what I would need, I don't know why mine isn't working. I still have to test it for volts, so I'll do that. I guess I'll let you know if I need anything. Pretty much just seeing how it's wired and what the harnesses look like.

Do you have the 2 power wires connected and the 1 ground?

This is the harness that plugs into the connector for the power seats. There's only one power wire. I am going to check volts tomorrow to make sure I'm getting 12V at power and ground, if I am, I'm swapping the SE seat onto a manual frame. If I'm not getting 12V, I'll redo the harness, but I doubt that's the issue since the driver's seat still worked after installing the harness (which I did by splicing into the driver's side power harness so there would still be a fuse in the harness)

Tech, how do you remove the tilt adjuster ****? I read your write up on how to remove the lumbar ****, which I tried and successfully removed it, but what about the tilt ****?

Well, now that I know how to remove the tilt adjust ****. If the harness I made is receiving the proper volts and the power seat does not work, I will swap the passenger SE foams, heating elements, and skins over to the manual seat skeleton that I have.

Also, when removing my seats, I found out that I do not have side impact air bags, with the installation of the SE seats, I now have the air bags, makes me even more glad I picked these up.

Oh, and Tethys are going on tomorrow

Cool but like I keep saying you need 2 power wires and one ground to make the seat work. I had the wifes hooked up quick when I installed it. This way I was able to move it into a good position then took the wiring out. I wanted to be able to hook it up and run it under the carpet.

I need two power sources spliced into the one power wire on the harness?
