I thought that was it, and since I haven't found anything in mine, I asked him to cut it out so I could use it to try to track the wires or something. Well, he got back to me and said that it seemed kind of big. This is a yellow plug that was in a dead socket behind the dash, plugged up sort of by the big bunch of wires back there. I got home and found the plug, but it's one prong two big on each side, this is the plug, it's yellow just like I was told it was and it's the only plug back there I can find.

Boxpin, I asked you how you wired yours in because I'm still not finding a switch, so therefore, I may be wiring these in myself, and I thought you said you used the switch from the T5-R, as I would still like to use the fog light switch as an on/off switch.
new page, picture repost

You looked up by the switches? It will be up there. You found the yellow one by the big plugs closer to the hood release.

It will be up like right by the headlight switch.

Yeah, this one was close to the hood release. I looked by the switches. There is nothing down by the head light switch itself, maybe I'll unscrew this side of the dash pad and lift it up so I can see from the top, I can't see anything from the bottom. I don't even see any extra wires down by the head light switch. Is it tucked up there or something, back behind/above the dimmer switch?

Well, I followed all the wires from the dimmer, rear fog, and head light switch until they entered back into the loom and there were no extra wires coming from there, I swear I cannot find this connector, I'm almost convinced that I don't have it. Perhaps me and boxpin are in the same boat here.

Boxpin, could you tell me which wires you used on the fog switch harness so I can correlate to which pins they are on the switch? I'm just going to use the factory switch as an on/off switch. Your switch can turn the fogs on and off right? I know you said that the fogs turn on and off with the car, but can you also turn them on and off from the switch? Thanks.

I forget exactly where the wifes was mounted. But I think it was on the back of one of the dead switch plates.
If I remember I will look at my wagon tomorrow and see if it has one.

Thanks, but, I'm pretty sure it's not there, just like boxpin.

Your cars must have been a Friday at 4:58 cars. They quit for the day before finishing the wiring!! LOL

P.S. on a side note hopefully soon the manual swap post will be done. I have 4 pages written up already waiting to finish getting the pics to go along with it. Was not able to take a bunch while doing the swap. Need to go back and take pics of things then add to the post.

Must be. It's just so weird to me that the wiring would be there in the bay for fogs, but then missing in the dash. Just doesn't make sense. It's not the end of the world though. Me and my dad are just going to figure out which pins to tap into on the switch to make it act as an on/off switch and we'll just wire them in ourselves, won't take long. My Dad will be able to do in 15 mins probably.

Awesome. Sounds good, I think I know how to do most of it, just the wiring at the end so you can start the car and the reverse lights, I think that's the hardest part about the whole thing.

I agree on the wiring. If it is wired under the front it should have a plug for the switch.

For the Tranny stuff for right now I have an old PNP plugged in and set to park. Then for the reverse lights I made a plug and got pins and plugged it into the old PNP/tranny plug in the reverse light positions and they work fine. I will have the pin numbers and a picture when the post is fully done.

I think I might post what I have for right now then add the pics later.

What is the gray switch supposed to be? TRACS?

Here is mine. Dont be confused by the Molex plug, that powers the lights in the boost gauge. The plug should have only 4 wires in it. All small 20 gauge. You can see how they are twisted together. The pink and black run the lights in the switch only. The other two send a signal out (negative) and recieve a signal back (positive, that turns on the green light indicating they are on).

I am thinking that if you found the two fog plugs your going to have it. Have you pulled the drivers dash speaker out and looked in there?

Please send the pictures of the fog plug locations. I am dying to see.

God, I'll look again. But like you said, you found the plug down by the radiator, they wouldn't put in one side and not the other and you don't have the fog light switch connector. I have the tweeter out, the dimmer switch, the rear fog switch, and the main light ****, and I do not see any other connector. I followed the wires that lead from the dimmer/rear fog switch and head light **** to where they enter back into the loom and it did not appear to have any extra wires. Now that I know what the wire colors are for the connector I can look for those and maybe the connector is just wedged in somewhere. I'll try it again.

Boxpin, random question, what size tires you runnin on your Tethys?

PM sent to me on VS from someone who knows what's going on here:

"hey man 94's are dif. from the rest you need the J harness that plugs into that plug under your dash aswell as the 2 relays that plug into said harness, this harness also conects to the switch."

"Yes sir that is correct. 94's were about half *** wired for them. The connector you found runs to the front of the car where you connect your light to."

See, I wasn't crazy when I said I couldn't find the connector.

I could not find the cabin plug either. The battery side fog plug in mine was plugged into a blank, the wire color was correct but it was too short to reach the fog. I was thinking that maybe if you add fogs there is a harness you buy that plugs into it that Y's to the two fogs. But, you found the second plug which I never did. (PICTURE PLEASE) I gave up after throughly searching and what was more frustrating is I had the T-5R sitting there with the yellow plug and it was wired into the loom about 5-6 inches back from the headlight harness. There in the T-5R and not in the wagon.

215 45 17 ...they touch now and then but no more than the 205 55 16s. They sit beautifully on the rims.

See previous post, if you have that giant yellow plug that I showed, yours may be the same way. This guy has all the harnesses/relays needed to install the fogs this way NEW that he's giving me for really cheap. YAY. I tried taking pictures but it's really hard when I can't even fit my head underneath the front bumper anymore. I'll try again later today.

215s? They do look really good on the wheel. I think I'm going to go with 195/45/17. 205 at the biggest.

Dude you're lucky! I want to figure out a way to turn my fogs on by themselves. I'm burning up my headlight switch running them off my parking lights.

How hard/what would you have to do to wire it yourself?

Your switch should be running a relay, not going directly to your fogs. What you are wanting is easy to do.

Just google installing or wiring in fog lights, tons of stuff comes up, a lot of diagrams on how to do it. It seems pretty simple. Maybe boxpin and draw a diagram of how he did his.
