It's a blast...besides the fact that every time I go from second to third it sounds horrible. Hopefully some synchromesh or synchromax will take care of the shifting problem. I messaged the person I got the transmission from, so we'll see what he says. I'm pretty pissed about it though, all that work and he sent me a bum tranny, even though he had it taken apart for the gear pack swap.

You think some Synchromesh or something similar will help it a bit? I've read a lot of really good things about the stuff on various forums when I googled it, and my friend who's built a few cars said the stuff works great.

Yeah. Well, tomorrow I'll try and see what happens. I'll try and get some pictures soon too. I'm still waiting on a response from the guy I got my transmission from, see what he says.

lol. Thanks.

Well, I'm going to take another drive tonight. The majority feel that I do not have a synchro issue, but that my timing/shifting is off a bit. When me and my Dad took it for a drive, he was unable to make it grind, but I was, so maybe I just have some practice to do. Which I hope is the case.

I think my 15G was leaking a little bit of oil (this is after completely wiping it off about three weeks ago, maybe a total of 5 or 6 hours of drive time on it)...lol

Uhh, that's a lot of ****. damn, haha. But for the cord, I would have said reroute it to the front of the center console thing. You can still have that light in there along with making it look a bit cleaner. Have I shown you pictures of how I did mine?

To the front of that pocket underneath the arm rest? That bulb is burnt out and I don't keep anything in there except for a couple pens because the hinge on there is pretty loose, so I don't use the arm rest compartment, I don't really care if I have the hole there.

Where you have the screws to bolt it down, then there should be a cover for them, yeah? And ohh okay, haha.

Yeah, I have the cover for that. I just took the pic as I was reinstalling the center console. I was sick of the blinking light on the flash drive blinking in my face when it was in the 2nd DIN before, at least this way you can never see it, plus my Greddy will be taking the second DIN spot now.

Niceee man. I'd find a way to clean it up in there, attention to detail, but that's just me.

That little hole in the back? Meh, I don't see it, no one else sees it. I have a lot bigger things to worry about right now then a little hole that doesn't effect anything.

All washed up. Running great. Just have to fine tune the Greddy and my NA cams and clean up the bay a little bit. New control arms will be going in shortly, and I think it's time to do the rear engine mount (see other thread). Here's some pics:

Looks great! Did you have to cut off your front tow hook to do the FMIC? Did you drop your old intercooler? And next thing, tint the car.

Yah, tow hook was cut off. If I ran a smaller intercooler I would have been able to go underneath it, but I didn't have room with this one. And old intercooler is still in there, maybe one day I'll drop it out, otherwise it's not worth the trouble right now to do it.
