It may not be as low as I would like in the front, but I'm not really willing to give up the ride quality to throw on cut stock springs. My lowness may not be there, but the handling sure is, and that's what matters to me, especially now that I have a manual transmission and I'm playing with my tuning.
Yeah, I just like being able to take turns that have a 35 mph sign at 70 mph without hesitation. Pretty sure on every new car I ever get suspension is going to be the first thing done to it.
yah, I would like to take a coil out of the rears so the car sits flatter and not so high up in the rear. but if I do that I feel like the front might look like it sits higher then, and I don't know if I want that. I think I'm just going to leave the suspension alone until I get some IPD springs or can make some diy coilovers.
New rear engine mount just about done. Have to tighten all the bolts and get a new bolt for the mount to subframe. Had to torch it to break it loose. Only took me about three hours to get that far. lol
Exhaust work in the sun doesn't sound fun. Got my new control arms today so tonight I can wrap up the engine mount and throw on the new control arms and hopefully get out of the house.
Just finished installing new bulbs in the cluster. And advanced the NA cams to 3*. This should give me some more low end power. Taking it out for a test drive now, hopefully it's a little quicker on the bottom.
I think I just fell in love with the car all over again. More power all around, more so in the low end. Started turning up the boost. I have to try pretty hard not to chirp the tires in first. Started playing with the greddy a little bit more. Man I just can't wait to get a tune. And so far my AFRs are looking pretty good.
I was dipping down to 10.5s WOT, never below 10 though. Found that thread you posted in a while ago on VS about running rich. Sounds like a few people suggest the MAF. Which is a possibility seeing as mines 16 years old w/ 215k miles worth of use. I don't have any vac leaks since it's all silicone and new. Intercooler pipes are all metal. Maybe I'll start with the MAF. I guess I'd rather be rich than lean. It could also be something with the fact that it's a candian spec ECU? I don't know.
It is hard to say I am still in the 9's and replaced almost everything that could affect it besides the turbo.
I had a known good MAF and still the same thing.
Are you sure you have no vacuum/boost leaks at all?

I mean, I guess anything is possible. But I replaced all of my vac lines when I did the swap with stylin motors. I'm at -17-20 hg at idle. There's no way I have any leaks in the intercooler system. I guess I'll double check everything and try to find a known working MAF.
