volvo 850 stearing hard to turn
Just the other day, i went to drive my 1995 volvo 850 and the stearing seemed to be really hard almost like i had no power stearing, on the drivers side, there is a bunch of grease on the front subframe and i wasnt sure what it was from i couldnt see and rips in any boots and i cant figure out what is wrong with the stearing. thanks
If it's the pump here you go

Mine was leaking and I bought this kit and rebuilt the pump. You have to have a pulley puller, not a gear puller, auto zone has it as a free loaner. Pay very close attention to how it comes apart. The vanes have to go in the same way and the pump rotor is has to be aligned just right on the roll pin and inlet and discharge ports. I used lucas PS pump fluid and it is soooo quiet even when I hit the stops.

I replaced the power steering pump and it did not change anything the steering is still hard and i was wondering if it may need greased or something like that, it is still the same and is really hard to turn, can anyone help me out?
