Default Volvo Chemical Gasket - to use or not to use?

1994 850 turbo. Been leaking oil from the pan gasket. I think, it must be caused by too much pressure in the crank case so I must have a plugged PCV system. To do it right I head to the dealership and purchase a new breather, seals, chemical gasket and vacuum lines. I only want to do this once so I am doing it all.
So I get it apart, replace all the lines, tubes, vacuum lines, etc...everything new. Cleaned out the entry and return tunnel for the PCV. Everything is clear, clean and good to go. I clean the pan contact points, nice and shinny using a gasket remover (commonly known as a cookie).
Reassemble, flawless. Happy and ready to run.

My gripe....its leaking again and its not the main seal (front of rear) you can see it seaping from the pan line. Nothing can tick you off more than putting so much effort and time and money into fixing something and having it be for naught.

Here is my question: Is there something else that I can use other than chemical gasket? In my opinion its a $40 tube of crap. I know its a zero clearance fit but the gasket material should be able to hold back the oil.

tighten the bolts a lil more... if that doesnt work there is a $6 tube of crap called rtv, permatex, gasket sealer. that they sell at the auto store, use that.
