Hey guys, new to the world of Volvo, just got a 96 850T and just grabbed my NA manifold and TB. Just curious........i dont see anyone mentioning porting the runners on the manifod to match the ports on the head. Is it just me, or arent the runners slightly smaller then the ports on the head?? Sure looks like it to me......

Smoothing, port matching and polishing are always a good idea.

My thoughts exactly. My plan was to open the runners to the diameter of the gasket, but now im rethinking it because i dont know the exact diameter of the ports on the head and i dont want to go too big and creaye a lip.....and without hearing from someone whos done it im just going to leave it alone
