Hi. Have a 1995 850 turbo wagon with 96k miles. Absolutely love it. But having problems that only show up intermittently. Looking for some input:

1. Problem #1 - On occasion, the passenger side window does not work. SOMETIMES both the drivers side and passenger side windows don't work with the switch. Many times, BOTH window work fine. The passenger side problem is the most common.

2. Problem #2 - Sometimes the shifter button will not depress. I have to hit the override button to move the shifter (automatic). When this problem occurs, the turn signals do not work until the next time I start the car.

3. Problem #3 - this is a new one. I have my headlights set to automatic. On occasion, they don't go on. I have to turn the car off, take the key out, then re-start the car and the headlights seem to work.

Any help appreciated. Robert...you out there!?

#1 - Probably the window switch itself.
#2 - The ignition switch.
#3 - The headlight switch.

 

Next time it happen try a slight pressure on the key back toward off but not enough pressure to turn it off.If the key moves little and the windows/turn signal work right replace the ignition switch.
