What to do next?
I am working on my '96 brick again, and this time the issue is pretty serious...I have had to let the car set for a couple months due to a lack of time and money but I was able to start up again and discovered that cylinder #5 was full of water, and that the motor seems to be seized up.
Here is my question:
Should I pull off the head and try to break the crank free, or should I just track another motor and drop that in?
Suggestions?

It sounds like a head gasket issue but I think I would start by pulling the spark plugs and getting the water out. Air compresses - water doesn't. I go through this every year when the kids drown the Jet Skis. After it has set that long you may need to break it free with a breaker bar before the starter will pump the water out of the spark plug hole.

I have already pulled the plugs...this is how I found the water in the first place...so it sounds to me like I need to get a bigger bar and break this motor free before I get too carried away.
