What is this, and which vacuum hose is missing?

Default What is this, and which vacuum hose is missing?

It is on the driver side up front. Everything is running fine, but I noticed it when I was changing the oil. Surely it has a hose hooked to that (clean) nipple. I could not find one laying around anywhere in reach though.

i can't tell anything for sure, but it is possibly the drain hose that runs from the cowl below the windshield?

It is a canister of some sort.

isn't that the pump for the headlight washers?

If is under the battery it is part of your cruise control. The open nipple is supposed to vent to atmosphere.

That is your Cruise control and your not missing anything....thats how it is.

You have an answer but it would be helpful if you told us more than it's just an 850

Turbos have lines NAs don't. Could be part of an EGR system but you might not have one depending on year.

If you want help on your car tell us about the car. They change stuff year to year.
