Default Where are these cords located?

I'm installing a new radio (Alpine IVA 901) and I have to attached wires to the parking brake signal lead and the foot brake cord or brake lamp cord. I have no idea where they are located. Does anyone know where they are located and what color if any are the cords? Thanks for any help!

Why would you have to tap into the parking break signal? I have never heard of an aftermarket radio having to do that. Is it a DVD player or something?

Its not uncommon for DVD players to have this safety feature. They dont want you to view video when you are driving. There are ways around it, you just need to give these wires the power or ground they want to trick it into thinking you are sitting stopped with the car in park and the emergency brake is on.

+1 for tricking these 'safety' connections.

I had a flip up TV head unit in my 940. I was able to ground out the brake switch and put in a code and then TV would play DVDs when I was in drive or park.
