wiper arm possibly stripped
ok, got for you here need some wiper advice, my driver side wiper got froze to the window lastnite and i inadvertently turned them on this am before the ice was thawed and no my driver side wiper will not run. need to know how those are attached to the motor arm, is it with a tightening bolt or does it have the grooves in the arm that are now probably stripped out, hope i explained this ok thanks
Peel back the cover and remove the nut. The wiper arm has the softer metal and some is on the steel shaft. Just clean the shards of metal off the shaft, reposition the arm and snug the nut down. It should reseat OK.

When mine was ruined (grooves were stripped), I looked to drill something and put a screw, but couldn't see where to drill. I ended up buying a new arm from FCP (about $ 35).
thanks to all, it turns out it was just a lose nut on the arm, it was dark when i went to work and dark when i came home so i could not look at it until today, just tightened the nut down and all is well, thanks!!!!!!!
