I recently bought a second hand Volvo C30 2008 1.8 sport edition, with about 100000km.

This is the problem: sometimes, when I turn the key the car craks but has trouble firing. I want to make clear that this does not always happen, and even when it does at the end it always starts (maybe after 4/5 seconds of cracking, or after turning it off and starting again).

I bought the car at a garage, with 6 months of warranty. Quite worried about this issue last Friday I got the car checked. The garage couldn't find anything wrong with it, so they performed an electronic reset and sent me home... And of course nothing was fixed. Today, just as before, the same "cracking not firing" issue occured.

Any suggestions on what to do? My car still has 2 months of warranty. I'm afraid that one day it will will simply not start, and I'll have to pay the fix my self because warranty will be expired
