hi. i currently drive a 2006 p2 c70 d5 auto with 89000 miles and im having a right mare with the gearbox. when driving her first thing she drives absolutley beautifully smooth but as soon as the temp gauge hits halfway the gear box characteristics change and i start to get a hard down shift when pulling up to junctions. this has progresivley got worse until the other day i lost drive in first and 3rd gear. the car had came to me with the fault and i did 3 part fluid changes and the problem was better but not cured and as i say has now got worse. i ordered some chinesium solenoids yesterday and decided with the help of the wife i would remove the old solenoids to try clean/refurb them. long story short the wife rounded off one of the torq bolts and i couldnt get the cover off from the valve body. so now im stuck the gearbox has to come out or at least drop down enough to smash something in or on the torq bit to remove it. but thats a lot of work and im thinking maybe a second hand box might be the better option...any help or tips on the aisin warner 5 speed would be greatfully recieved thanks
