I got this problem when driving, I think it's transmission,(automatic). Sometimes when I start the car and put on D, it won't drive, and after I press gas a little, it will just still not go, and than it would just go off, and sometimes even peal out. And it always shakes really bad when going on reverse, when car is hot. but when cold it wouln't .. what you think the problem is? The fluid level on transmission looks good, I checked. but it looks little brownish. this car has 80k on it, and no idea if fluid got changed.

well I changed the fluid, and it started to work better, but when the engine is cold it won't shake when going in reverse, but when gets hot... It just shakes while going back slow, but when I step on gas and go faster back.. the problem disappears, until again I start going slow..... I m thinking if I didn't forget to tighten some of the engine mounts.......

I changed fluid. and transmission drives fine. but when it gets hot, after like 10 mins drive, it shakes on reverse.. what could cause that. like when it's cold, it drives backwards so smooth and nice, once it gets hot, it just messes up...

You sure? because I was swapping engine myself, and when I was taking old one out, the torque converter slide out, so I just slide back in. and little trans oil came out where the torque converter is. And the sensor that on the top of flywheel I used from the engine I put in, not my old one. I m thinking I will put the old sensor and see what happens. because sometimes when I start the car, put in D or R it won't go. sometimes I have to shut off engine, and restart to make it work. (you remember how I told you abt me swapping engine) well I hope I put it back good, because it drives fine, but thats the problems I m having sometimes that I listed above .. thanks

The torque converter is supposed to slide in and click like 3 times. It usually goes in and stops wiggle a little and goes in more the 3 times total.

So that might be the case?? It won't go in itself while I drive around?? I just bought universal cooler for the tranny, so hopefully it will help. bcuz that happens only when tranny gets hot... I had the DBO codes checked, and no codes where found. the person that checked was using some huge $6k computer to check, so I think it shows accurate... and no codes, even check engine light was on, bcuz of vaccum leak(Autozone was checking with their stuff)

It will not go in by itself. Sorry to break the bad news.
